Money questions
What counts as an active client?
Any client you haven't archived. Archive one to make room for a new one on Free. Their quotes, invoices and history stay.
I'm a maker. Is there a limit on products?
No. Products, materials, batches and stock have no limit on either plan. The Free limits are only about clients and invoices.
Is there a free trial?
No. There's a Free plan instead, and it never runs out. Nothing turns into a charge unless you choose Pro.
Which ChatGPT plans can use Puffin?
Free and paid ChatGPT plans, wherever ChatGPT offers plugins. That may not include every country at first. On work accounts an admin may need to turn plugins on. See Can't see Puffin in ChatGPT?
Does Puffin take a cut of my payments?
No. Card payments go through your own Stripe account, straight to you. Puffin takes no cut.
What else might I pay?
Stripe's usual card fee, if your clients pay by card. Stripe shows it before you connect. Puffin adds nothing on top.
What happens when I cancel Pro?
Pro keeps working to the end of the month or year you paid for, then you're on Free. Nothing is deleted. If you have more than 3 active clients, they all stay; you just archive some before adding new ones.
Can I get a refund?
If you live in the EU or UK and change your mind within 14 days of starting Pro, you get all your money back. The details are in our Terms. Anything else, email hello@puffinhq.com.
