Accessibility
Puffin should work for everyone. The website and Puffin's cards in ChatGPT are built to meet the WCAG 2.2 AA accessibility standard.
What that means for you
- Everything works with a keyboard, and you can always see where you are.
- Everything works with read-aloud tools, like VoiceOver and NVDA.
- Text stays readable when you zoom in up to 400%, and nothing scrolls sideways on a small phone.
- Dark mode follows your phone or computer's setting.
- Nothing moves by itself, and animation switches off if you've asked your device for less motion.
- Colors are never the only way to tell things apart. Late invoices say “Late” in words.
- Buttons are at least 44 by 44 pixels, so they're easy to tap.
- There are no puzzles to prove you're human.
How we test
Every change to the website is checked automatically in light and dark mode, with a keyboard, and on a 320-pixel-wide screen, before it goes live. Puffin's cards in ChatGPT get automatic accessibility checks in both themes too. We haven't had an outside expert check Puffin yet. We'll say so here when we have.
Found a problem?
