Add Puffin to ChatGPT

Puffin is waiting for OpenAI to approve it. Once it's in ChatGPT's plugin directory, this is all it takes.

1. Open ChatGPT on your phone or computer, and sign in.
2. Open the plugin directory and search for Puffin.
3. Tap Connect.
4. Type your email address. We email you a 6-digit code.
5. Type the code. That's it: there's no password.
6. Say “open Puffin” or tell it what you do, and setup starts.

Can't see Puffin in ChatGPT?

You're on a work account

On ChatGPT Business, Enterprise and Edu, an admin decides which plugins people can use. Ask yours to turn plugins on, and to allow Puffin.

Plugins aren't offered where you live yet

ChatGPT doesn't offer plugins in every country yet. Join the launch list on our home page and we'll tell you when Puffin works where you are.

You're signed out

Plugins only show when you're signed in to ChatGPT. Sign in, then search for Puffin again.

Puffin asks you to connect again

Type your email and the new code we send you. Your records are still there.
